Meet the artist
I’ve spent my life immersed in textiles and creativity, from earning a first-class BA (Hons) in Embroidered and Woven Textiles at Glasgow School of Art to teaching and exhibiting across the UK. Over the years, I’ve exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh and twice been a finalist in the Scottish Portrait Awards.
My artistic journey has taken me from portraiture and seascapes to bold, abstract mixed media. I love combining textiles and embroidery with fine art to create work that’s rich in texture, colour, and storytelling.
Now, alongside teaching part-time, I share my passion through online courses in mixed media and collage — designed to inspire you, build your skills, and help you see the world with fresh creative eyes.
